INTERIOR DOORS STORE's responsibility for merchandise is limited to the provisions of these Terms. Warranty service may be provided by the seller or manufacturer of interior doors, in accordance with the legislation at the company's legal registration address (State of California, USA).

BASIC TERMS OF PRODUCT PURCHASE
Important: All products are sold by default "as is" without warranty obligations. The buyer inspects the quality and completeness of the product upon receipt. In the absence of claims at the time of receipt, the buyer assumes full responsibility for all further maintenance and quality issues.

WARRANTY SERVICE OPTIONS

1. Standard Terms (No Warranty) — product is sold "as is", buyer assumes all risks and responsibility for further maintenance
2. Included Warranty — warranty obligations may be included in the cost of the purchased product if explicitly stated in the product description or specifications
3. Additional Warranty — buyers may purchase additional warranty service:

• 14-day limited warranty — $49
• 30-day limited warranty — $79
• 1-year warranty — $229
• 2-year warranty — $399
• 3-year warranty — $459

INTERIOR DOORS STORE reserves the right to change the cost and terms of additional warranty service without prior notice.

WARRANTY TRANSFER
Warranty obligations do not extend to third parties unless the manufacturer or seller was informed prior to providing warranty obligations. The warranty is provided exclusively to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to other persons without written consent from INTERIOR DOORS STORE.

SCOPE OF WARRANTY SERVICE (IF APPLICABLE)In the case of purchased warranty or if warranty is included in the product cost, all INTERIOR DOORS STORE doors covered by warranty are manufactured to high quality standards and have a limited warranty against manufacturing and material defects for the applicable warranty period.

WARRANTY SERVICE PROCEDURE
If the Product fails to comply with the terms of the purchased warranty during the applicable warranty period from the date of purchase, INTERIOR DOORS STORE will, at its discretion:

1. Repair the Product
2. Replace the Product in the same stage of fitting or finishing that was initially provided by INTERIOR DOORS STORE
3. Refund the price originally paid to INTERIOR DOORS STORE for the Product

KEY WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
Even with a purchased warranty, please pay special attention to the following limitations:

• Warranty does not cover doors wider than 3 feet (3′) and/or taller than 8 feet (8′)
• The finish on locking systems and hinges has no warranty ("AS IS")
• Hinges and locking systems within 5 miles of salt water have no warranty
• Compliance with transportation, storage, and care rules is required (see full list below)
• Warranty rights are not transferable to third parties without INTERIOR DOORS STORE's consent

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Even with a purchased warranty, it does not include non-conformities or damages related to:

1. Natural wear and environmental factors

• General wear and tear during use
• Natural variations in color, texture, or wood grain
• Slight expansion due to environmental conditions
• Damage caused by natural disasters (hurricanes, floods, fires)

1. Improper use and care

• Failure to follow operating instructions (see detailed list below)
• Improper storage before installation
• Alterations to factory finish (painting, staining, etc.)
• Accidental glass breakage

1. Installation and assembly

• Improper product installation
• Use in conditions exceeding design specifications
• Reinstallation after removal from original location
• Problems with frame systems not original components

1. Special operating conditions

• Hinge and lock mechanisms near salt water (within 5 miles)
• Use of locking systems with steel products
• Doors shipped outside the continental United States, Hawaii, or Canada

PRODUCT HANDLING RULES
Failure to comply with the following rules voids any purchased warranty:

• Avoid direct contact with water, fire, sunlight exposure
• Avoid rough handling of doors and door units
• Transport in protected containers or on pallets
• Install only after building materials have completely dried
• Before installation, keep doors at the installation site for 3-4 days
• Installation must be performed by qualified professionals
• For cleaning, use only suitable detergents without abrasives or solvents
• Do not hit the glass with objects

CLAIMS PROCEDURE
Claims under purchased warranty must be submitted in writing, with proof of warranty purchase and before any repair work, to: INTERIOR DOORS STORE, 11116 Tuxford st Sun Valley CA 91352.

INTERIOR DOORS STORE reserves the right and must be given a thirty (30) day period for a company representative to inspect the Product.

TRANSPORTATION AND INSTALLATION EXPENSES

• For confirmed warranty cases, INTERIOR DOORS STORE may cover reasonable transportation costs within 50 miles of the purchase location.
• All other expenses for removal, installation, and other associated costs are borne by the Warranty Holder.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of disputes regarding warranty obligations, the parties first attempt to resolve the issue through negotiation. If agreement is not reached, the dispute may be referred to arbitration in accordance with California state law.

APPLICABLE LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Some provisions may not apply in certain states due to differences in legislation. These terms give you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
